LS adjourned for the day following Congress protests over attack on Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi, Aug 8 (IBNS): The Lok Sabha was adjourned for the day on Tuesday following continuous agitation by Congress members over attack on Rahul Gandhi in Gujarat, according to media reports.

Home Minister Rajnath Singh said Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi violated security protocol during his visit to Gujarat, media reported.

Stones were hurled at his car when he was visiting Gujarat to assess the flood situation.

On Saturday, Senior Congress leader P Chidambaram slammed the BJP for not condemning the attack on party vice president Rahul Gandhi's convoy during his visit to Gujarat on Friday.
