Rohini Court blast

Low intensity blast at Rohini Court; 1 injured

New Delhi/UNI: One person was injured after a low intensity blast in Room number 102 of Rohini Court on Thursday morning.

Delhi Fire Services (DFS) said fire tenders were rushed to the spot after they were informed about low intensity blast in Rohini Court.

A person was injured in the blast and was admitted to a hospital before the DFS reached.

According to the police, they received information about the blast at around 10:25 am.

Police reached the spot and cordoned off the court premises.

The forensic team and NSG team were called for investigation.

A black colour bag was found lying in the spot and apparently the explosion occurred in the bag, police said.

No casualty has been reported, however, a Naib Court, identified as Head Constable Rajeev, sustained minor injuries and received treatment in Hospital. He is fine now.

A case has been registered and a probe is being carried out by Delhi Police Special Cell.

Forensic teams have collected the evidence from the spot and taken it for examination.
