London: Indian businessman Vijay Mallya arrested

London, Apr 18 (IBNS): Indian business tycoon Vijay Mallaya has been arrested in London on Tuesday, media reports said.

India has asked the UK to  extradite the Indian businessman.

Mallaya is accused of defaulting on bank loans.

He has been facing money laundering charges.

Mallya had left India last year.
