#LokSabhaElection: RMP to support UDF candidate in Vatakara

| @indiablooms | Mar 18, 2019, at 04:13 pm

Kozhikode Mar 18 (UNI/IBNS) Revolutionary Marxist Party ( RMP) will support the United Democratic Front (UDF) in Vatakara Lok Sabha constituency.

Polling for Vatakara LS seat will be held on April 23.

No matter who the candidate will be, the RMP will extend its unequivocal support for the UDF, only to ensure the defeat of the Left Democratic Front (LDF) candidate and CPI(M) strongman P Jayarajan.

The RMP leaders N Venu, K K Rama and P Kumarankutty said 'their party will not work for the UDF but will launch a door-to-door campaign against their arch rival CPI(M) candidate'.

The party is against the LDF candidate for the reason that former CPI(M) leader and founder of RMP, K Chandrasekaran was hacked to death by miscreants, allegedly masterminded by Marxist leadership, including the LDF candidate P Jayarajan.

The RMP, with a strong base in Vatakara, will support the secular candidates, other than the LDF candidates, in all other constituencies.
