Amethi, Apr 18 (IBNS) Aam Admi Party's (AAP) Amethi candidate Kumar Vishwas has alleged that there is threat to his life from Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi and his sister Priyanka Gandhi.

"Rahul-Priyanka close aide threatens to KILL me. Priyanka invites him to guest house to discuss!" tweeted Vishwas.

He also retweeted a post that read: "Local Congress worker in #Amethi, Vinod Mishra threatens to gun down AAP candidate."

Vishwas said he will file a complaint with the Election Commission (EC) and the police against Rahul and Priyanka in this regard.

Pertinently, Vishvas filed his nomination papers from Amethi on Tuesday, while Rahul filed his nomination on Apr 12.

Vishwas is also facing Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Smriti Irani in Amethi, who filed her nomination from the Lok Sabha constituency in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday.
