New Delhi/IBNS: Union Minister Piyush Goyal has said Koo should take over Twitter as the latter is in a "mess" currently and that he is so happy to be one of the first to join the social media platform from India, Koo.

"Every day that I see Twitter and the mess around it, I am so happy to be one of the first to head on to Koo," Goyal said.

He made the remark at the ET Startup Awards on Saturday.

Claiming that he thinks "Koo should take over Twitter", Goyal said, "That's the strength of an Indian entrepreneur...our startups. I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that these tough times that the world is facing are an opportunity that we should not miss.

Goyal's remark comes at a time when Twitter is facing a stiff challenge ever since Elon Musk has taken over which saw several of its employees quit following a deadline by the billionaire entrepreneur and the company sending messages that it was closing its "office buildings" for the next few days.
