Kolkata Metro service disrupted as man attempts suicide
Kolkata, Jul 19 (IBNS): Metro rail service in Kolkata has been disrupted since Tuesday evening as a middle aged man committed suicide at Rabindra Sarovar station, reports said.
According to reports, a middle-aged man jumped in front of a Dumdum bound train at around 7:50 pm. at Rabindra Sarovar metro station in south Kolkata.
Till the latest update came in, metro rails are being slowly run between Noapara and Maidan stations.
The identity of the man has not been known so far.
More details are awaited.
