Kolkata: 3 injured in car crash during driving lesson

Kolkata, Nov 30 (IBNS): At least three persons were injured, one out of which is critical, in a car mishap during driving lessons at Phoolbagan area in north Kolkata on Wednesday morning, reports said.

According to reports, the speeding Toyota Innova car, which was coming from E. M. Bypass, suddenly lost control at Maniktala Main Road area and smashed into a minibus, parked beside the street.

After hitting the bus, the car hit a pavement-railing and overturned.

Police, fire and emergency service officials and Disaster Management Group (DMG) personnel rushed to the spot and rescued three passengers of the car.

After being rescued, three injured men were sent to a hospital nearby.

According to hospital reports, one of them- crashed car's learner-driver and owner Naresh Agarwal- is being treated in a critical condition.
