Kolkata, Jun 16 (IBNS): At least two persons were killed and several others were injured after a Howrah to Sealdah bound minibus overturned on Howrah Bridge (Rabindra Setu) in Kolkata on Friday morning, reports said.

According to reports, the bus suddenly lost its control and overturned while it was trying to overtake another bus at a high speed.

"A Malipanchghara to Sealdah bound minibus of Route-25 (WB 11A 5545) overturned on Howrah Bridge today at around 11 am," a local police official told IBNS.

At least 14 persons were seriously hurt in the accident and were rushed to Calcutta Medical College and Hospital where two of them were pronounced dead.
