Kirpal Singh's body handed over to India

Amritsar, Apr 19 (IBNS) Body of Indian prisoner Kirpal Singh was handed over by Pakistan to Indian authorities on Tuesday, reports said.

Indian national Singh died in mysterious circumstances Kot Lakhpat Jail in Pakistan's Lahore city recently.

Pakistani authorities brought his body to the Attari-Wagah border .

He was then handed  over to Indian authorities.

Singh's post-mortem was conducted at Jinnah hospital in Lahore.

He was arrested on charges of spying in 1992.
