Kerala temple fire: Pakistan mourns loss of lives

Islamabad, Apr 10 (IBNS) The government of Pakistan on Sunday expressed their deep condolences on the loss of precious lives, resulting from fire breakout at a temple in Kerala.

"Our sympathies are with the bereaved families. We wish early recovery to all injured people," Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

At least 106 people were killed and scores others were injured as a fire broke out at Puttingal temple in Kerala's Kollam district on Sunday, making Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit the site.

Modi visited the state with a team of burn specialists. He met Chief Minister Oommen Chandy & local administration officials.
