Kerala court sends rape accused Roman Catholic Bishop Franco Mulakkal to 14 day judicial custody
Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 6 (IBNS): A Kerala court on Saturday extended the judicial custody of rape accused Roman Catholic Bishop Franco Mulakkal by 14 days.
He was arrested over allegations of repeatedly raping and sexually assaulting a nun.
He has been remanded to judicial custody till Oct 20.
The Bishop was produced before the court on Saturday after his judicial custody ended.
He is currently lodged in sub-jail in Pala.
