Thiruvananthapuram, Mar 15 (UNI): The Congress in Kerala will announce their candidates for the Lok Sabha polls on Saturday.

This was informed by opposition leader in State Assembly Ramesh Chennithala, who was in Delhi to attend Congress screening committee meeting, according to party sources here on Friday.

Denying media reports that Kerala Congress leader PJ Joseph will contest from Idukki seat, the sources said the Congress has not given any promise to any party in this regard.

Stating that RMP leader KK Rama will not be supported by the Congress in Vadakara seat, the sources said the party high command will take a decision on the candidature of sitting Alleppey MP KC Venugopal and former chief minister Oommen Chandy MLA.
