KCR government failed in every front, BJP will fight alone in state polls: Amit Shah

| @indiablooms | Sep 15, 2018, at 03:20 pm

Hyderabad, Sept 15 (IBNS): Blowing almost the poll bugle in Hyderabad on Saturday, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Amit Shah announced his party will go solo in the state polls, which will be held soon.

Shah said: "BJP will fight on all seats in Telangana and emerge as a strong and decisive force in the state."

The election in the state has become necessary as Chief Minister (now caretaker Chief Minister) K Chandrasekhar Rao dissolved the Telangana Assembly on Sept 6.

Addressing a press conference, Shah tore apart Rao by calling the latter's government a failure.

Shah said: "K. Chandrashekar Rao government has failed at every front be it law and order or development."

The BJP president also accused Rao-led Telangana Rashtriya Samithi (TRS) government of doing vote bank politics.

"TRS is doing politics of vote bank and appeasement in Telangana," said he.

According to political observers, the TRS wants to de-link the Assembly election from Lok Sabha polls to evade any possible impact of Rahul Gandhi being projected by the Congress as the Prime Minister.

With the BJP still not having significant sway in Telengana, the Congress is the only party perceived to be a potent rival of the TRS.
