Kashmir: Suspected terrorists open fire at Army vehicles in Akhnoor

Srinagar/IBNS: A group of suspected terrorists on Monday opened fire at Indian Army vehicles in Jammu and Kashmir's Akhnoor city, media reports said.

The attack occurred in the Jogwan area of Akhnoor at around 7:25 am.

Three terrorists were spotted firing 15-20 rounds of fire on the vehicles including an ambulance. No casualty has been reported.

The Army has launched a massive search operation in the area.

An encounter with heavy firing is currently underway in the Battal area of Akhnoor.

The terrorists have deformed the idols at a temple in the area.
