Kashmir : Security forces exchange fire with militants
Srinagar, Apr 5 (IBNS) Security forces launched a search operation in a village in north Kashmir's Kupwara district on Tuesday following a brief exchange of fire with militants, reports said.
The incident took place at Shiekhpura in Lalpora area, about 100 km off Srinagar.
No casualties were reported in the exchange of fire.
Additional troops have been rushed to the area to prevent the ultras from escaping the scene.
