Kashmir: Police solves newborn baby kidnap case in Srinagar

Srinagar/UNI: Police on Sunday solved a kidnapping case of a newborn baby and arrested the accused, a police spokesman said this evening.

He said police in Srinagar received information that last night, a day old baby was kidnapped from Lal Ded Hospital Srinagar by an unknown person.

Subsequently, during the course of investigation Police team from Rajbagh Police Station tracked the accused person and arrested him within 12 hours.

The kidnapped new born baby was safely recovered. After completion of necessary formalities, the new born baby was handed over to his family.

A case FIR No. 17/2020 under relevant sections of law stands registered in Police Station Rajbagh.
