Kashmir Crime: Another rape of teenage girl reported in Ganderbal

Srinagar, May 14 (UNI) Amid outrage across the valley for the past few days over rape of a three-year-old girl in Bandipora, a teenage girl was raped in central Kashmir district of Ganderbal, official sources said on Tuesday.

They said a complaint was filed in a police station Ganderbal that a teenage girl was raped by a person on Sunday evening.


They said an FIR was registered and accused, a resident of Harran, Ganderbal, was arrested and further investigation taken up in the case.


Massive protests continued for the past few days across the Kashmir valley against the rape of a three-year-old girl in Sumbal area of Ganderbal district.
