Kashmir: Army jawan killed in mine explosion in Poonch

Jammu/UNI: One Army jawan was killed and another suffered injuries in a mine explosion along the Line of Control in Mendhar area of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Defence sources said that one jawan was killed, while another suffered injuries in an explosion that took place during an operation in forwarding areas along the Line of Control in the KG sector of Poonch on Saturday.

The body of the jawan has been shifted to sub-district hospital Mendhar for postmortem, he added.
