Karnataka: Two brothers electrocuted when they came in touch with live wire

Raichur,Karnataka, June 3 (UNI) Two Brothers, residents of Salagunda Village in Sindanur Taluk of the District were allegedly electrocuted in the early hours of today when they came in contact with live wire that had fallen on the ground due to heavy rain accompanied with gusty wind yesterday.

Police said on Monday that the deceased were identified as Husen Basha (34) and Hasan Basha (36).

Husen was trying to rectify the live wire when he was caught and his elder brother Hasen who came to rescue him was also electrocuted. Both died on the spot and the bodies were sent for postmortem.

Sindanur Police have registered a case.
