Karnataka: BJP appoints Dharmendra Pardhan as election in-charge for state assembly polls

New Delhi/UNI: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday appointed Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan as its party in-charge for the upcoming assembly elections of Karnataka.

Tamil Nadu BJP President K Annamalai has been appointed as the party co-in-charge for the polls, the Party said in a statement.

The assembly election in Karnataka is likely to take place sometime in the middle of this year.

In another decision, the BJP has appointed D R Thapa as state president of Sikkim and NK Subba as BJP's Legislative party leader.

DT Lepcha has been appointed as Special invitee for the National Executive committee.
