Cutting across the daily politics, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has spilled the beans over his marriage and the choice of his life partner in the middle of his nationwide rally, dubbed as Bharat Jodo Yatra.

Gandhi, who is presently in Jammu and Kashmir, revealed his marriage plans in an interview with YouTube channel Curly Tales.

When he was asked about whether he plans to marry, Gandhi told interviewer Kamiya Jani, "When the right girl comes along, I'll get married. I think that my bar is very high when it comes to marriages as my parents had a really lovely marriage."

On his choice of a life partner, the 52-year-old leader said, "Just a loving person who is intelligent."

Gandhi in the course of the interview said he follows a disciplined diet but is flexible when he is out of home.

Moti Mahal in Delhi is his favourite destination for food, the Wayanad MP told the channel.
