JK Imam Association organises seminar to raise awareness on child development in Handwara

Handwara: A seminar-cum-workshop on 'Role of society in child development' was on Sunday held at Town Hall in Jammu and Kashmir's Handwara town where more than 100 children, social activists and civil society members participated.

The event was organised by the J&K Imam Association.

The association said the event was organised to raise awareness on the importance of the topic discussed.

In their message for the occasion, Chairman Imam Association Hilal Ahmad Lone Ahmad said parents and society on the whole must become brand ambassadors to guide children towards the right path.

Among others, who spoke on the occasion include, Chairman Auqaf Committee Handwara Ghulam Rasool Banday, Grand Mufti of Handwara Nizamudin Nadvi, Advocate Ab Majeed Banday and Mufti  Zahoor Ahmad.
