Mumbai, Jul 10 (IBNS): Reliance Jio users were left aghast as a data breach was reported, reports said.

The Jio customer data breach could be the biggest in India, which was first reported by Fonearena.com.

The data of 120 million subscribers were made accessible online on magicapkcom. The site has however been suspended.

Details like name, surname, e-mail id, SIM activation date were revealed on the site.

Speaking about the breach, a Reliance statement read, :"We have come across the unverified and unsubstantiated claims of the website and are investigating it. Prima facie, the data appears to be inauthentic."

"We want to assure our subscribers that their data is safe and maintained with highest security. The data is only shared with authorities as per their requirement. We have informed law enforcement agencies about the claims of the website and will follow through to ensure strict action is taken," the statement read.
