Jharkhand poll results: JMM-Cong-RJD maintains steady lead over BJP

Ranchi/IBNS: The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM)-Congress-Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) is maintaining a steady lead over the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as the results of Jharkhand assembly polls are coming out on Monday.

As per the latest trends, the alliance is ahead in 40 seats while the BJP is leading in 28.

The AJSU is ahead in six seats, Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (JVM) four and Others three.

In the elections, the BJP fought solo after breaking up with its ally JVM.

The majority mark in 81-member assembly is 41. 

The five-phase elections came to an end on Dec 20.
