Jharkhand: Drunk husband murders wife in Palamu

Daltonganj/UNI:  A man under the influence of alcohol strangulated his wife to death in Bhitiya village under Pipra Police Station area of the Palamu district.

The accused Vijay Ram strangulated his wife to death whom he had married in June this year as she objected to his daily drinking habits. The body of the woman was recovered from her room.

Police said that the culprit was planning to create a scene of suicide inside the room but before he could fulfil his goal, police reached on the spot and arrested him.

Later, the body was sent for post-mortem.
