Jayalalithaa continues to 'improve'

Chennai, Oct 3 (IBNS): Health of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, who is undergoing treatment at a hospital here, has improved.

"Puratchi Thalaivi Amma's health continues to improve, advised further stay in hospital for treatment," her AIADMK tweeted quoting Apollo Hospital.

Throughout her hospitalisation, the AIADMK has shot down reports that the Chief Minister, a former movie star and one of the most popular and powerful politicians in the country, is seriously unwell.

The AIADMK  has said she has been treated for fever and dehydration.
