Japanese PM Kishida Fumio arrives in India

New Delhi: Japanese PM Kishida Fumio arrived in India on Monday for his two-day trip to the South Asian country where he is expected to hold bilateral talks with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi.

He is visiting India till Mar 21.

"During the visit, he will hold talks with Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi. Both sides will discuss bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest," read a statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs earlier.

The two leaders will also discuss their priorities for their respective Presidencies of the G7 and G20.
