Jammu Frontier to carry out recruitment in BSF, CISF

Jammu/UNI: Jammu Frontier of Border Security Force will be carrying out recruitment in BSF, CISF for all the 22 districts of two Union Territories including Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.

Official spokesman said that Special Recruitment Rallies (Open Rally) will be carried out for male and female candidates belonging to 22 districts of UTs of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh to fill up the total 1356 vacancies for 1184 males and 172 females of Constable (GD) in Border Security Force (BSF) and Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) in the level- 3 (Rs. 21700-69100) in the pay matrix as per 7th Central Pay Commission plus usual admissible allowances to Central Govt. employees from time to time.

He said that in addition Ration allowance, Medical assistance, uniform allowance, free accommodation, LTC etc. is as admissible to Central Govt. employees.

The post has all India liability and selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India and even abroad, he said adding that they will be governed under relevant Acts and Rules of respective Forces as well as CCS Rules.

The selected candidates will be governed by the new contributory Pension Scheme, which came into effect from Jan 1, 2004, he added.
