Jammu and Kashmir: Youth killed in road accident in Srinagar

Srinagar, May 22 (UNI) A youth was killed and another was injured in a road accident in the summer capital, Srinagar on Wednesday.

Official sources said that a motorcycle skidded off the road near Barzulla bridge in uptown Srinagar, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist and his pillion mate.

The duo was immediately to taken to a local hospital from where they were referred to SHMS hospital.

However, one of them, identified as Faid Bashir, succumbed to his injuries while the health condition of another youth is stable.

After completing all the legal and medical formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites.
