Jammu and Kashmir: Two suspects arrested with arms in Anantnag

Security forces arrested two suspects and recovered arms and ammunition from their possession in Jammu Kashmir’s Anantnag district, the Army said on Tuesday.

"During the operation, two suspected individuals have been apprehended, and one pistol and warlike stores were recovered from their possession. Investigation is in progress," they said.

“Based on intelligence inputs, a Joint Mobile Vehicle Check Post (MVCP) was established on Dec 11 by the & @JmuKmrPolice at Zabilpura, Bijbehara, Anantnag. Two suspected individuals have been apprehended with recovery of 01xPistol & war-like stores. Investigation in progress”, Srinagar based Chinar Corps of Indian Army said on X.
