Jammu and Kashmir: Minor girl among two killed in tractor accident in Bandipora

Baramulla/UNI: Two people were killed, including a minor girl and another girl was injured, in a road accident in north Kashmir district of Bandipora on Sunday afternoon.

Official sources said that a tractor on way to an orchard in village Ashtangoo, Bandipora turned turtle and fell into a stream.

They said a rescue operation was immediately launched and all the three persons identified as 18-year-old Zubair Farooq Dar, Tabasum Jan (8) and another minor girl Rafaq Rashid were rushed to District Hospital, Bandipora.

However Zabair and Tabasum were declared brought dead.

Meanwhile, police have registered a case and initiated proceedings, they said.
