Jammu and Kashmir: Militant arrested
Srinagar, Feb 10 (IBNS): In a joint operation by the Kashmir Police and the Indian Army, a local militant was apprehended from Janbazpora area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, officials said on Friday.
An official said that Irshad Ahmad Khwaja, a resident of Seelo village, was apprehended after specific information by a team of SOG of J&K police and 53 BN CRPF.
A pistol, two magazines and a hand grenade were recovered from his possession.
