Jammu and Kashmir: Encounter breaks out in Rajouri

One terrorist was reportedly killed as a gunfight broke out between terrorists and security forces in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.

Official sources said that encounter started between terrorists and security forces in Behrote Budhal area of Rajouri.

"A team of Police and security forces this morning on specific inputs launched a cordon and search operation in the area," they added.

The Sources said that as the joint team approached towards the suspected area, the hiding terrorists fired upon them thus triggering an encounter.

Reports said that one terrorist has been neutralized in an ensuing gun battle.
