Jammu and Kashmir:  Div Com flags-off DDC chairpersons for 2-day training programme

Srinagar: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Pandurang K Pole Monday flagged off DDC chairpersons and vicechairpersons to Jammu for a two-day training programme.

An official spokesman in a statement issued here said that the divisional commissioner interacted withthe participants and urged them to make best use of the training programme. 

The training programme organised by the Rural Development Department and Panchayati Raj J&Kwould be held at Convention Center Jammu from March 9 to 10. 

The participants include elected members and CEOs from various DDCs hailing from Kupwara,Baramulla, Bandipora, Budgam and other districts of Kashmir division.Director Rural Development Kashmir, District Panchayat Officer, Srinagar, Kupwara (who have beendesignated as nodal officers to accompany the participants) and other officials of the Rural DevelopmentDepartment were present on the occasion.
