Jammu: Chief Justice of High Court (HC), Justice Pankaj Mithal Monday e-inaugurated ‘e-Filing application’ for the HC and ‘Employees’ Record Management System application’ for the subordinate judiciary.

An official spokesman in a statement issued here said that the e-Filing application would supplement the present filing procedure in the HC by a hassle-free, timesaving, more transparent, efficient, and effective system.

He said that now a lawyer or a litigant just from his workplace or any other place of his convenience could file a matter before the HC by logging into the e-Filing portal.

The spokesman said that the Employees’ Record Management System aims at managing the human resource working in the subordinate judiciary.

He said that the application carries detailed information of about 2500 employees of the Subordinate Judiciary of J&K and Ladakh.
