Jagan Mohan Reddy richest Indian CM, Mamata Banerjee poorest: Report

New Delhi/IBNS: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy is the richest Indian Chief Minister while his West Bengal counterpart Mamata Banerjee is the poorest, a report by Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) has claimed.

As per the report, Jagan tops the list of total assets worth Rs. 510 crores.

The worth of Jagan's total assets is more than the cumulative assets of all Chief Ministers of the country.

He is followed by Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu and his Odisha counterpart Naveen Patnaik in the second and third positions respectively.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee tops the list of poorest Chief Ministers with her total assets of Rs. 15 lakhs with no immovable assets.

Mamata is followed by Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and his Haryana counterpart Manohar Lal Khattar in second and third positions respectively.

The report is based on the analysis of the election affidavits of all Chief Ministers of India.
