New Delhi: Bollywood actor Jacqueline Fernandez was on Wednesday questioned by the Economic Offences Wing of Delhi Police for nearly eight hours in connection with a Rs 200 crore extortion case involving jailed conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar, media reports said.

According to media reports, the actress arrived at the agency's Mandir Marg office in Delhi at 11: 30 am and left just before 8 pm.

The case is also being investigated by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) which is looking into the money laundering aspect of Chandrashekhar's extortion racket.

Last month, Jacqueline was named by the ED in its chargesheet, accusing her of being aware that  Chandrashekhar was involved in extortion and cheating.

The agency has said the actor overlooked his criminal activities and illegal source of his money and continued to indulge in financial transactions with him.

According to media reports, Jacqueline Fernandez admitted to receiving five watches, 20 pieces of jewellery, 65 pairs of shoes, 47 dresses, 32 bags, 4 Hermes bags, nine paintings and one Versace crockery set as gifts from the conman, according to the chargesheet.
