Israel PM Benjamin Netanyahu tweets in Hindi to congratulate his 'friend' Narendra Modi over Lok Sabha polls victory

Jerusalem, May 23 (IBNS): In a tweet in Hindi, Israel PM Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday wished Prime Minister Narendra Modi as his Bharatiya Janata Party registered a massive victory in the Lok Sabha polls as counting of votes for the general elections is currently going on.

Benjamin Netanyahu called Modi as his 'friend' in his tweet.

Netanyahu congratulated Modi and said he registered an 'influential' victory in the general polls.

He said he will continue to work with Modi in strengthening the relationship between Israel and India.

As per trends at 1.46 pm, BJP-led NDA is leading in 338 seats.

The Congress-led UPA is ahead in 92 seats while others are moving forward in 112 seats.
