New Delhi/IBNS: Arrested former Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram has been named in the chargesheet filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in the INX Media case, media reports said.

Apart from Chidambaram, his son Karti is also named in the chargresheet.

Chidambaram was arrested by the CBI on Aug 21 for allegedly committing corruption by facilitating a huge flow of foreign funds to INX media when he was the Finance Minister. He was sent to Tihar jail on Sept 5.

The CBI has also laid allegations on Chidambaram’s son Karti Chidambaram for receiving huge kickbacks for facilitating the deal.

The Enforcement Directorate has also arrested Chidambaram in the same case and took the former Finance Minister in its custody till Oct 24.
