India's Lost Talent: Food delivery app takes dig at Ranveer Allahbadia over 'sex with parents' remark

| @indiablooms | Feb 12, 2025, at 12:12 pm

Magicpin, which claims to be the third largest food delivery app in India, has taken a dig at popular YouTuber and podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia who has landed in hot water over a controversial "sex with parents" remark on Samay Raina's show India's Got Latent.

The app posted a picture with animated images of the panelists who were on Raina's show on social media.

Magicpin wrote on X, "Can we get back the magic in comedy??"

The National Commission for Women (NCW) has summoned YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, comedian Samay Raina and India's Got Latent producers on February 17 over alleged derogatory comments made in the show.

Taking exception to the comments, the NCW has said these violate the dignity and respect owed to every individual, particularly in a society that claims to uphold equality and mutual respect.

Besides Allahbadia and Raina, those summoned include social media influencer Apoorva Makhija and the show's producers, Tushar Poojari and Saurabh Bothra.

Maharashtra's cyber cell unit filed an FIR against Allahbadia and all the people involved from Episode 1 to 6 of India's Got Latent - including guests.

According to reports, 40 people have been named in the FIR.

The process of sending notices to each has started and everyone will be called to record their statements.

Three different groups and people had filed police complaints against Allahbadia in Maharashtra over his 'sex' remark.

What is the controversy about?

During the latest episode of Samay Raina's show India's Got Latent, Ranveer asked a contestant about the size of his p***s and then asked him to suck his d**k.

Ranveer was heard saying in a viral video, "Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once to make it stop forever?"

Social media influencer Apoorva Makhija, comedian Samay Raina and content creator Ashish Chanchlani, who were the co-panelists, were flabbergasted while they were laughing.

The remark has not only irked the social media users with several of them being his followers, an official complaint has been filed with the Mumbai Police Commissioner and Maharashtra Women's Commission against the podcaster.
