Indian PM Narendra Modi calls up French President-elect Emmanuel Macron, congratulates him
New Delhi, May 9 (IBNS): Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said he called up French President-elect Emmanuel Macron and congratulated him over his recent poll victory.
Modi said he is looking forward to work with him to further deepen cooperation between India and France.
"Called President @EmmanuelMacron to convey my congratulations on his victory in the French Presidential election," PMO India quoting Modi tweeted.
"I look forward to working with President @EmmanuelMacron to further deepen cooperation between India and France," he said.
