India records 59,118 new COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours
New Delhi: India continued to witness a hike in COVID-19 cases as the nation recorded 59,118 cases in the past 24 hours, as per Ministry of Health released data on Friday.
During the same period, 257 deaths due to the deadly virus was registered.
So far, 1,18,46,652 cases have been recorded.
There are 4,21,066 active cases in the country at present.
The death toll due to the disease now stands at 1,60,949.
