New Delhi/UNI: The government on Thursday said that India is putting "all resources on the ground" to ensure an early extradition of fugitive economic offender Nirav Modi to India.

"Both cases of Nirav Modi are under litigation that are being heard at Westminster Magistrates Court in London. Broadly I can summarize that we are putting all resources on the ground to ensure early extradition of Nirav Modi to India," MEA spokesman Raveesh Kumar told reporters here.

On another such business magnate Mehul Choksi, he said the Indian government has requested to the Antiguan government for putting the process on fast track to ensure 'extradition' of the PNB Scam scam accused.

"We have requested......if they can expedite the legal proceeding so that the process of extradition of Choksi to India can start," he said.
