Swaraj also launched India’s BRICS website on this occasion.

A cash-reward of Rs. 50,000 was handed over by the EAM to the winner of the BRICS logo-contest that had received well over five hundred and seventy entries from across the country.

The EAM announced that the 8th BRICS Summit would be organized in Goa, India, on Oct 15-16.

Over fifty meetings and events, at the Ministerial, Senior Officials, Working Groups, Technical, and Track-II levels, are proposed to be organized during India’s BRICS Chairmanship through the year.
