India and China hold border personnel meet in Ladakh

New Delhi, May 22 (IBNS): Indian and Chinese armies held a meeting of border personnel in the eastern Ladakh sector of Jammu and Kashmir, media reports said on Wednesday.

The Indian delegation was represented by Major General Arvind Kapoor while the Chinese side was led by Senior Colonel Gan Wei Han.

According to reports, both sides agreed to maintain peace and tranquillity along the border area.

The meeting also witnessed saluting each other's national flags beside the ritualistic greeting exchange.

According to reports, both sides resolved to continue a cordial relation of friendship and harmony.
