IAF helicopter crash lands at Natha top helipad in Jammu and Kashmir, passengers and crew safe

New Delhi, May 23 (IBNS): A Cheetah helicopter of the Indian Air Force crash landed at Natha Top helipad in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday morning , according to a media release from the Ministry of Defence.

The Cheetah Helicopter of the IAF was on a routine sortie from Jammu to Natha To, the release said.

It carried carrying two passengers and two aircrew.

The crash occurred around 9.51 on Wednesday.

All aircrew and passengers are safe, according to the release.  

A court of Inquiry has been order to ascertain the cause of the crash landing.
