Hyderabad twin blast case: Two convicts sentenced to death, one gets life imprisonment
Hyderabad, Sept 10 (IBNS): Two Indian Mujahideen terrorists, Akbar Ismail Choudhary and Anique Shafique Syeed, who were convicted in Hyderabad twin blast case, have been sentenced to death by a court, media reports said.
Tarik Anjum, the other convict, has been sentenced to life imprisonment by the special National Investigation Agency (NIA) court.
Mohammed Saddiq Ahmed Sheikh, Farooq Sharfuddin Tarkash were acquitted by the court.
Two other accused- Riyaz Bhatkal and his brother Iqbal- are still at large.
The twin bombing had occurred at Lumbini Park and Gokul Chat in Hyderabad 11 years ago.
