Hyderabad: Fire breaks out in AC manufacturing unit, kills 6

Hyderabad, Feb 22 (IBNS): At least six people were killed as fire gutted an air-cooler manufacturing plant in Hyderabad's Rajendranagar area, reports said.

The incident took place on Wednesday morning.

Police investigation has deemed short-circuit as a reason for the mishap.

The workers were all from Odisha.

Police have been able to identify four of the six deceased, Irphan, Saddam, Sharukh and Ayub Khan, Hindustan Times reported.  

The law enforcers have arrested the owner of the manufacturing unit, who is undergoing an enquiry.
