Hyderabad, Feb 9 (IBNS) Police have found the body of Dr Shashi Kumar, in a farmhouse at Nakkalapally near Hyderabad, on Tuesday, with bullet injuries allegedly from the same weapon that he used to open fire on his business partner, Dr Uday Kumar, on Monday, according to media reports
The police have recovered a suicide note, purportedly written by Shashi Kumar, and a bottle of poison from the spot.

In the note, the deceased claimed that not he but his other partner, Dr Sai Kumar, who had opened fire on Uday; the police is verifying the allegations made in the note.

The police had been on the lookout for Shashi since the shooting on Monday.

According to media reports, the three doctors, partners in the multi-specialty Laurel Hospital at Madhapur that opened earlier in Jan, got into an argument while sitting in a parked SUV, when Shashi fired at Uday at point blank range.

But the bullet nicked Uday's left ear, wounding him, and did not cause any injury to Sai Kumar; the injured doctor took an auto-rickshaw to a hospital, said the local media.

Reportedly, the three got into an argument over the partnership arrangements by which Dr Uday Kumar and Dr Sai Kumar had taken up the posts of CEO and managing director while Dr Shashi Kumar was one of the directors along with several NRIs who had also invested in the hospital. Dr Shashi Kumar invested up to Rs 75 lakh and the other two partners had invested up to Rs 3 crore in the 100-bed hospital.
